Join Chabad of Cary in raising $70,000 Dollars in our year-end campaign!
Who are We?
Motivated by a profound love for every Jew and spurred by a boundless optimism, Chabad of Cary sets into motion a dazzling array of programs for young and old alike, inspiring Jews from all walks of life regardless of affiliation or level of observance.
How are We Funded?
We don’t charge membership nor do we get any funds from Chabad Headquarters.
Instead, we are – wholly – sustained by free-will donations for:
- Thought-provoking classes that bring relevance, depth, and joy to Judaism
- Innovative and uplifting holiday & social programs open to the entire community
- A unique synagogue experience with a warm and heimish atmopshere & lively Torah discussion instead of a sermon.
- A Rabbi and Rebbetzin dedicating each day to make sure no Jew should feel alone and that there always be an address for a listening ear when down, a warm bowl of chicken soup when ill, or holiday needs before each Yom Tov.
How You Can Help?
Running Chabad of Cary requires a major investment of time, energy, and capital. While our Rabbi and Rebbetzin work tirelessly to ensure that no Jew is left behind, the day-to-day expenses of operating a Chabad center can be daunting. Rather than charging membership fees or expensive event prices, which could alienate some people, we rely on the generosity of the community that we serve.
This is an incredible opportunity for YOU to be a meaningful partner in our work and ensure we begin 2019 on strong financial footing. Thanks to the generosity of our matchers, every donation over the next 33 hours is doubled.
Here are some highlights of just the last 3 months alone
- Our largest High Holidays to date including a Rosh Hashana Dinner of Dinner of 150
- The launch of a TEEN group led by new staff, Rabbi Zalmy and Mushka Dubinsky
- The launch of a kosher-coop to serve the community
- The launch of a new Pre-K class to our Hebrew School
- More than 300 attendees at our Chanukah Wonderland and Ice Menorah
- 65 children, our largest to date, currently enrolled in our Hebrew School
- 20 attendees enrolled at our last Jewish Learning Course, Wrestling With Faith
- Our weekly lunch and learn, now in its 8th year, now streaming live on Facebook
