Book of Remembrance

Each year, Chabad of Cary publishes a Book of Remembrance with the names of our departed loved ones. This booklet is used at the Yizkor Services on Yom Kippur and on Sukkot, Pesach and Shavuot.

The Yizkor Prayer

"… May G-d remember the soul of my relative, _________ who has gone to the his/her world, because, without making a vow, I will give to charity on his/her behalf. As a reward for this, may his/her soul be bound in the Bond of Life, together with the souls of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob;Sarah, Rebecca, Rachel and Leah, and together with the other righteous men and women who are in the Garden of Eden, and let us respond: Amen. …."
