Jewish Women's Forum

Sunday, 10 January, 2010 - 10:07 pm

A group of fifteen women gathered today to explore the world of Prayer. The afternoon was eye-opening.  Prayer is definitely a hot topic for all of us. Each of us has a different perspective to prayer, some of us have very little formal training in 'davening', most of us feel ill-equipped to daven in Shul.  Nearly all of us have moments of personal reflection and gratitude during the day (and even night!) It was inspiring to hear some ideas for incorporating prayer in our daily activities - upon waking up, while driving, before eating and before drifting off to sleep.  We talked, we shared, we laughed, and we learned.

As a spin-off of this topic, look out for information about a women's prayer class to be held at Chabad of Cary.

Our next group meeting will be on February 14 at 2:30.  Topic to be announced. If you'd like to join our Women's Group, please send me an e-mail and I'll add you to our list.  ([email protected])
